Ekwale Sarah Ochuko is a seasoned legal and human resources professional with over a decade of multidisciplinary experience spanning corporate law, employee relations, regulatory compliance, public health advocacy, and organizational development. Called to the Nigerian Bar in 2009, she has consistently applied her legal and administrative expertise across various sectors.

She currently serves as an Associate Director at Corporate Accountability and Public Participation Africa (CAPPA), a pan-African non-profit organization that advocates for human rights, public health, and environmental justice. In this role, Sarah leads internal operations while also contributing to strategic campaigns such as Tobacco Control Advocacy and Food Justice Initiatives, helping protect communities from non-communicable disease (NCD) risk factors and corporate exploitation.

Prior to joining CAPPA, Sarah held key roles in reputable law firms and real estate institutions, where she gained valuable experience in corporate governance and administrative leadership. A team player and solution-driven professional, she collaborates effectively with internal and external stakeholders to achieve sustainable, people-centered outcomes.

Sarah is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association, and a Fellow in Tobacco Control Law in Africa. Beyond her professional commitments, she is passionate about service and social development and has led and participated in various community-driven projects.
